ALFW Rides 100 Miles For A.L.S.

In honor and in memory of Cheryl Alderman, this year ALFW (Aging Like Fine Wine) is teaming up with the A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation to complete a 100 mile ride on June 13, 2015.  Cheryl's husband, Clarke, a newcomer to ALFW and cycling, will be riding long distance for the first time.  Cheryl and Clarke's daughters, Elizabeth and Kara are excited for their dad and will be cheering him on during this memorable day. Your donation will help the A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation which was started in 2001, create a brighter future for those living with A.L.S. in New England and honors all of the courageous individuals and families touched by this disease.  Over 30,000 people are living with A.L.S. today, a disease that causes a progressive degeneration of motor neurons in the body affecting voluntary muscle control.  Those affected eventually lose their livelihood, their independence and ultimately their lives.  The A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation helps those living with the disease today celebrate their time left with their loved ones, offering strength, hope and joy through their Patient Programs.  They help future generations through financial support of cutting edge research to one day find a cure.

Until there is a cure…there is the A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation.

100% of donations will go to the A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation, Inc. which is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for cutting edge research to cure A.L.S. in the future and providing patient services for those suffering from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis today.
